2 PAPERS ACCEPTED @ AAMAS 2026!

🎉 2 PAPERS ACCEPTED @ AAMAS 2026! 🚀

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Duc-Thinh Pham and his collaborators have had two papers accepted at AAMAS 2026 (The 25th International Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems)!

These works highlight our commitment to advancing Safe and Equitable AI through global research partnerships:

1️⃣ Constrained Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning with MAF-Net for Safe Trajectory Planning

🤝 In collaboration with Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore and the University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy.

Authors: Bizhao Pang, Mingcheng Zhang, Xinting Hu, Duc-Thinh Pham, Sameer Alam, Guglielmo Lulli.

This study tackles a critical challenge: ensuring AI systems move safely without collisions in complex environments.

2️⃣
Beyond Scalar Welfare: Enforcing Identity-Aware Equity in Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning

🤝 In collaboration with NTU and VNUHCM – University of Science (HCMUS).

Authors: Nhat-Hoang P. Nguyen, Duc-Thinh Pham, Trung-Hoang Le, Sameer Alam, Vu N. Duong.

This paper explores how to make AI decision-making more “fair” by considering the diverse identities and needs of different agents.

Special shoutout to the first author of this paper, Nhat-Hoang P. Nguyen, a talented VinUni PhD Scholarship recipient currently pursuing his studies at NTU!

Congratulations to Dr. Thinh and all the co-authors on this incredible achievement! We look forward to seeing these insights shared on the global stage in 2026. 🌟

❓
What is AAMAS?
The International Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems (AAMAS) is the world’s largest and most influential forum for research in “Agents and Multi-Agent Systems.” Essentially, it is the premier gathering for scientists teaching AI how to work together, make decisions, and interact safely in complex environments. Being accepted here is a major milestone, as it represents the “Gold Standard” of impact and innovation in the global AI community.
