• Prof. Zengchang Qin

Dr. Zengchang Qin received the B.E. degree in Automation from Heilongjiang University, Harbin, China, in 2001 and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence from University of Bristol, UK, in 2003 and 2006, respectively. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the EECS department, University of California Berkeley (2006-2008), a Visiting Fellow of the Department of Statistics, University of Oxford (2008-2009), a Visiting Scholar with Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University (2009-2010). Since 2010, he has been a faulty member of Beihang University, Beijing, China, before joining the VinUniversity.
His current research activity is focused on Artificial Intelligence, Uncertainty Reasoning, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Image Processing and Computational Game Theory. He published 2 books and over 130 technical papers in journal and conferences. He has been cited nearly 5000 times and his h-index is 33 and i10-index is 75. He also served as PC members of international conferences including NeuroIPS, ACM-MM, AAAI, IJCAI, ICLR, ICML and etc.

• Assistant Prof. Le Duy Dung

Dr. Le Duy Dung is an Assistant Professor at College of Engineering and Computer Science, VinUniversity, where he leads the R2Studio reseach group on AI-empowered Search and Recommendation and IndoorCare research group on AI and Simulation for Smart Indoor Spaces.
Previously, he was a senior data scientist in Ads and Personalization team, Grab Holdings Inc. and a research scientist in School of Information Systems, Singapore Management University (SMU). He also published and served as PC members of several leading international conferences including NeuRIPS, AAAI, IJCAI, ICLR, ICML, SigIR, and etc.

• Assistant Prof. Pham Duc Thinh

Dr. Pham Duc Thinh holds significant roles at both Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore and VinUniversity in Vietnam. At NTU’s Air Traffic Management Research Institute (ATMRI), he serves as a Principal Research Scientist and the ATMRI Chief Scientist. Concurrently, he is an Assistant Professor at College of Engineering and Computer Science, VinUniversity. His research expertise lies in the application of AI techniques to real-world systems, with a focus on: Machine Learning, Optimization, Reinforcement Learning.

• Assistant Prof. Huynh Thanh Trung

Dr. Huynh Thanh Trung received his B.E. and M.E. degrees in Information Systems from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam, in 2016 and 2017, respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Griffith University, Australia, in June 2022, where his research primarily focused on advanced machine learning and data mining techniques.
From 2022 to 2025, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL), contributing to cutting-edge research in AI and data-driven systems. Dr. Trung’s research interests encompass machine learning, deep neural networks, graph mining, computer vision, social network analysis, fake news detection, and large language models. He has authored and co-authored over 20 research papers in leading international journals and conference proceedings, which have collectively attracted more than 1,600 citations and earned him an h-index of 16.
He actively contributes to the research community as a reviewer for top-tier venues including WWW, WSDM, TKDE, ICDE, VLDB, and IJCAI. His work bridges theoretical AI research and real-world applications, particularly in analyzing complex data, detecting misinformation, and leveraging large language models for knowledge extraction and reasoning.
